« Really, it's better to give and receive. | Main | Dear Mr. President, »

Enough.

Seriously, will you guys in the mainstream media please shut the hell up about the angry old pastor and move on to issues? It's making you look silly.

The Senator didn't say that, of course. Not quite that way. Not that I know of.

But I did. Repeatedly, actually, over the past couple days, at the media's infuriating and incessant pit bull-like grip on the ridiculous Wright non-story, while ignoring important topics like our tanking economy, our troops and innocent Iraqis dying in Bush's war, and the fact that Sen. Clinton has fanned the flames in the Middle East with her reckless, chest-thumping remarks about Iran. Seriously, Sen. Clinton, did you have to use the word 'obliterate'? Was there some good reason to thwack that hornet's nest? I think the Democratic position is to end the war, not instigate another.

Watch what's scrolling at the end of this clip. The media needs be talking about our troops dying. Or the fact that we're sending another carrier to the Persian Gulf. What about "jobs, jobs, jobs"? Sen. Clinton brought it up, after all. It's that all-important experience she keeps talking about. Of course, she never said it was good experience. But then, they didn't ask, did they?

It's about time someone told the MSM to change the damn subject. It's good advice, and it's overdue.

All I can say is thank you, JK.

Nice, Faith. I mean, I know you were taking umbrage, but you do the umbrage thing better than most folks know how to. Myself included.

I applaud John Kerry for his continue leadership. He always steps up to do the right thing and speak out against this continue attacks on Sen. Obama character. Sen. Obama campaign is about bridging the divisions in our Country and look forward to the future. And a great future for the Democratic party. Who in the democratic party wouldn’t want that?

It is so easy for the media and of the Clinton campaign to highlight divisiveness. It is like “What ? People come together and actually face the challenges of this changing world? Not on my watch! No we have to dispel the notion that we can actually trust one another and work together. Instead we must use the same old political tactics."

It is especially appalling and hurtful to my feelings that the democratic primary incited the divisiveness. From Sen. Clinton and Pres Clinton and all their messengers including Mr. Ickes saying that Sen. Obama couldn’t win. It is the opposite message that the Democratic Party was saying when they were so proudly hailed the diversity of their candidates for President. Then they just sit there and let the Clinton campaign try to destroy Sen. Obama character.

They must know that they are exploiting people’s fears and prejudices to win. It makes me doubt her judgment more if she can’t see how this divisiveness and fear rattling is hurting our Country and is quite content is letting people continue to make misjudgments and stay in their negative comfort zone. Sen. Obama had an aspiring speech about race relations and Sen. Obama has denounced the prejudices of his ex-pastor. The Clinton supporters and others are exploiting them.

Sen. Obama has large coalition of people supporting him because he offers a change from the same old political shell games and distractions and has real solutions on the things people care about like the economy and health care,

Unfortunately I have not seen leadership from Sen. Clinton while she was a senator. She always seemed to avoid taking stands/positions The shell game. People want to look forward. to find a better way to help themsleves and the Country. Real change, not the shell game. The real question is “Is the democratic party just a shell game or offer people real change?” People just have to believe in themselves that we can work together and not be distracted by those who it is in their interest to divide us. Think of your children. And be positive and hopeful for our Country.

I should have said I feel bad or have bad feelings about all the divisiveness that it in the democratic primary rather than it hurts my feelings, it more appropriate.
