I hate August. It's hot, the kids are bored, and there's nothing on C-SPAN.
Truthfully, I was not looking forward to doing this week's newsreel. I haven't seen the Senator on TV, and I was afraid I'd be scrounging up old stuff and trying to relate it somehow to today's news. Well, I was wrong. Imagine that.
It may be the August Senate recess, but JK's done plenty this week, more than enough for a hefty dose of KV News.
I still hate August, though.

Thank you, Faith!
August can feel like things have come to a standstill, and I too get discouraged, but seeing JK continue to attend to what needs to be done each day, regardless of fanfare, always brings me from discouragement to inspiration. I'm so glad you also took the time to put together and post this fine video. JK would be proud of you. And now I must attend to the work in front of me today. I guess that's how good things get done.

I like August- it is still summer.
As for Senator Kerry, he apparently is busy even on his down time. I hope he does take some time to stop and enjoy what remains of summer. Thanks for these newsreel updates.

That was awesome. I would call this the most artistic newsreel yet by Kerryvision. Yes, the people's business never stops even during recess. Good that Senator Kerry is on top of it all.

Why, thank you guys.
I'm a pretty big fan of your work, beachmom, so I consider that quite a compliment. Connie, if you're right about JK being proud of what we're doing here, then all I have to say to him is, "back at ya, Senator". And wisteria, I agree. Not about August, but about hoping the Senator takes some much deserved time off.
I hear the Senator was at an event in Provincetown today, so I'm hoping to locate something to post for you guys.
I'm kind of excited about tomorrow's entry, too, so stop back and check it out.
