Four years ago, a young Army Captain named Jon Soltz returned from a six month tour in Iraq with a new mission: To become a spokesperson and activist for veterans - and military issues. He has since then co-founded the Veterans Organization VoteVets.org, a group dedicated to
elect Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to public office; hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America’s 21st century servicemembers; and fully support our men and women in uniform.
At the Take Back America conference in June Jon Soltz spoke out passionately against the Bush administration's handling of the Iraq War, and their mistreatment of returning soldiers and vets.
In keeping with this cause, it was inevitable that former NFL star and Army Ranger Pat Tillman's suspicious death, and the new information that has come to light, would prompt Jon to yet again take on the Bush administration and demand answers, first by appearing on Keith Olbermann,
and then by writing a diary at dailykos, in which he urges all of us to sign a petition demanding the Bush administration come clean about Tillman's death.
We at KerryVision urge our visitors to sign the petition, as well. It is time this administration is held accountable for at least one of their crimes. Let us help Jon Soltz in his mission to do so.

Hey -- great post, Kerstin. It is "Jon" Stoltz, though (no H).
