KerryVision Newsreel

Once again, it was a busy week for Senator Kerry, with hearings, speeches and events in both Washington DC and Massachusetts, running the gamut from Small Business to Foreign Relations to respect for veterans -- and respect for the truth, as the Senator delivered a hard-hitting speech laying out the facts about what the Democrats have accomplished in the Senate and what the Republicans are trying to obstruct. As always, we are pleased to bring you the highlights of the week (along with one clip from Fall River, MA that was left out last week).

Excellent newsreel, Karen. It's been quite a week for Mass businesses between the Uxbridge fire and the textile plant closing. So sad, and yet there's hope in that JK is there to help.
And the hearings, both the SFRC Pakistan and Small Business Disaster Relief, were much needed.
Good to see them covered here. Thanks for the newsreel, it's a great way to stay in touch with what the Senator has done through the week.

I so look forward to this Monday recap of our good senator's work on behalf of us all, Karen. Strange how I should be tracking all the dem hopefuls running for president, but JK is still the most able leader see on the political scene. What he does, and where he leads, is what is important to me. Thanks for the fine newsreel.

Very professional newsreel! JK has been his usual action-oriented self this week, and I'm glad you included the Fall River clip, too -- I hadn't seen it last week.

Love the use of "news music" and the cool titles (Taking Care of Business!) and that interesting graphic on the titles for Uxbridge and Fall River. Electras credits music still rockin'!!!

The Comeau Bridge item was really moving, too. Love that: "Supporting America's veterans doesn't come with an expiration date." I bet Comeau's daughter was proud to know JK was ready to fight for her dad's memory.

Connie, I'm with you!

Excellent as always. There is nothing like a Kerryvison Monday newsreel to keep me going.
Thanks!

This is an excellent newsreel. I'm a Pittsburgh area native stuck out in the middle of nowhere across the country for the time being. I haven't been to MA yet, but Boston is my dream vacation spot the way most people dream of going to Hawaii or Paris, and I'm a huge JK fan, so I follow Boston and MA news a bit. I'd read about the fire, but I don't think it hit me just how horrible it was until I saw that newsreel. The whole Kerryvision team really does an amazing, completely professional job.

Another great newsreel, Karen. I had no trouble at all reading all of the text in the video, so thanks for leaving it up a little longer! Another idea to consider -- having a footnote at the end of your post which gives the original links to all the videos. Say, I wanted to watch that entire Pakistan hearing, that would be wonderful if you had a "full video" footnote section. Only if it wouldn't be too much trouble, and if you think it's a good idea.

Thanks, all of you, for such kind comments! Beachmom, you were one of 3 people who said "Ack, I can't read those titles, they go so fast!" last time. So I'm glad if I finally got the timing right. And I love your idea about putting links to longer videos. As soon as I get a minute, I will see if I can add the appropriate links to this week's post. Only part of the Pakistan hearing is up on KV at this point, but the rest is in the works.
